I have been entertaining since I was a child, and have enjoyed every moment of it. When my 5 year old, Innocent, told me he wanted to be an actor, I wasn't surprised. I actually knew it was coming. Having two parents in the industry, I guess it may have been inevitable for our son to want to follow in our footsteps. But nothing I've experienced as an entertainer could have really prepared me for the reality of being a Mom of a child actor!

After Innocent's first head shot session at the age of 3, I got into gear and began submitting to some of the top agents in Los Angeles who are known for representing children. I created a unique cover letter (which I will share with you in the SHOWBIZ PARENTS course), and received emails for meetings within 24 hours! I don't ever remember it being THAT easy as I navigated my adult career as an actor. Geez!, these kids have it easy...I thought. The next week Innocent had agent offers and we signed with a major agency in Beverly Hills. Within that year, he booked 2 commercials, shot a TV show this year (which will be airing on APPLE TV-I'll keep you posted!!!), and recently completed a comedy series in July 2019.  We added a personal manager to the team this year, and Innocent has made the transition from Commercial/Print kid actor to TV/Film kid actor. Can't wait to see what the rest of the year will bring!

Parents, if you're not in the industry, it's OK! Don't worry. The most important thing is for you to have the willingness to learn and continue learning about the business so you can help your child make it as far as they want to go. Just last year a friend of mine (with ZERO experience in entertainment), followed my coaching and both of her boys were signed to major agencies. I started to think--there is definitely  a formula here! After doing the work and coaching other friends with their children, I decided that it was time for me to share what I've learned AND experienced with all of you!
